I joined into the livestream for a good portion of the day for Friday’s sessions. It was pretty good. They presented a large cross-section of several different concepts and methodologies surrounding Data Science.

The one I found most interesting was Deborah Berebichez’s talk because she is currently working as a quant. She presented several formula’s and concepts that she uses on a daily basis as a part of her career.

One of the bullet points on her presentation mentioned how the undersea cable across the Atlantic was upgraded in order to shave off latency for the algorithmic stock trading programs.

    Thanks for sharing this!
